Antigel, Very Bat Trip, acte I
Updated: Sep 25, 2024

Reading about “Antigel, Very Bat Trip, acte I” instantly took me back to that rainy weekend in my hometown when I tried to film a short experimental piece with friends. We had borrowed an old DSLR, wrapped it in a waterproof cover, and set out to capture the eerie glow of streetlights reflecting off puddles. The way the narrative in your post shifts between surreal humor and a hint of melancholy reminded me of the moment our makeshift “bat” prop—a ripped umbrella with a paper wing attached—caught a sudden gust and flapped wildly, almost stealing the scene. katesmith.org It was absurd, yet there was a strange beauty in that chaotic energy, just like the disjointed scenes you described.
